At the end 2012, Bouwfonds REIM has acquired six car parks in the Netherlands from Q-Park. It was a sale and leaseback transaction by which Q-Park will lease the garages back for 45 years.
The car parks are located in Apeldoorn (Museum Centrum), Hengelo (De Brink), Rijswijk (Bogaardplein P1), Roermond (De Oranjerie), Zaandam (Rozenhof) and Zwolle (Het Eiland).
Through this sale and leaseback transaction, Q-Park has strategically optimised the European portfolio and secured the financial scope to invest.
